General features of the Evolis Primacy 2

The Evolis Primacy 2 printer is ultra-fast, powerful and high-performing, with a new ribbon for double card protection.

Combined with cutting-edge encoding technologies, the Primacy 2 printer is the ideal solution for issuing personalised cards, from the simplest to the most secure (now with a new ribbon featuring a double overlay).

Available in single-sided and double-sided models, the Primacy 2 particularly meets the printing and encoding needs of medium and large card volumes.

Thanks to improved graphics processing, you can achieve more faithful quality of high-definition images and more precise monochrome characters.

It adds the innovative feature of retaining the print settings of the previous Primacy model, without the need to reconfigure the printer via Evolis Printer Suite before printing your pre-existing jobs.

Primacy 2 offers a resolution of 300 dpi and edge-to-edge printing with excellent quality, and lets you personalise colour cards in record time: up to 280 cards per hour single-sided and 170 cards per hour double-sided in colour.

You can upgrade your printer by adding a lamination module and various encoders: magnetic stripe, traditional contact smartcard, contactless smartcard or dual smartcard encoder (Contact / Contactless)
